Why Prayer Time Finder?
 

Praying is one of the most important religious activities in the life of Muslims. Muslims pray five times a day at certain times depending on the day of the year and the location on earth, and praying should be performed at these times, not before or after.  So, the prayer times must be calculated accurately to allow Muslims to pray at the prescribed times. Our main motivation for going into this project was to produce something useful that can help other people. Our aim was to give out a small device to display the prayer times of the day and alarm the user at these times.

One can say that knowing the prayer times is not a problem, as we can easily listen to the call of the Azan from any mosque. This is true in the Islamic countries, where all the mosques announce the Azan at the prayer times. But, in non-Islamic countries, it is a real problem, as one can not hear the call of the Azan, and hence can not know the prayer times. And here comes the importance if a way to announce the prayer times and that can be easily held and taken anywhere.

One other importance for such a device is in mosques, whether in Islamic or non-Islamic countries. This device can help in the automation of the Azan and Iqama of prayers. The one responsible for the announcing the Azan and Iqama can rely on the device and its alarms to know the exact times of prayers.
